My name is Kyran, also known as LemonManX (LMX for short) across a few small web-based communities. So how did this all begin? I remember my early days of gaming, back when I got my hands on my first NES. And played the damn thing to death, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Battletoads amongst my favourite games at the time. I’ve come a long way since then, transcending from someone who played games part-time to being an avid gamer. But that is not to say it is all I do with my life. When it comes down to it, gaming is my hobby, as much as anyone else enjoys playing football.

But my serious introduction to gaming didn’t really hit home until I laid hands upon the magic of Super Metroid on the Super Nintendo. Though I had been gaming before this, Super Metroid really hit home that gaming was something I loved. And from there it became my favourite past-time. In my own opinion, I can enjoy curling up with a book by the fire as much as I can enjoy curling up with Final Fantasy VII in bed on a cold day. Games can provide stories that can equal those of books and surpass that of movies.

Speaking of movies, and still on the topic of games, that brings me to my other major past-time. Writing, directing and acting in anything media related. Whether its a short-film, stage play or animated thing thrown together by friends. I enjoy anything creative really, so who knows where this will take me in the future? I’m currently finishing off a Bachelor of Arts and then plan on working until I can afford to get out of here. For the most part I won’t be leaving my home town until my girlfriend of 2 years finishes up her degree. But what I can say is that after this I would like to get into some sort of Journalism course in Melbourne if I can manage it. Getting into Video Game Journalism is something I would enjoy a lot. Hell, I’d also love to be a writer for Video Games themselves if I was ever able to break into that area. But a man can dream…

Mostly you’ll find me over at www.wiiloaded.com taking the helm as one of the three administrators over there ensuring that the forums are a friendly, fun and downright enjoyable place for all to come to. Now as I stand I am the proud owner of a Playstation 3, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii and a slightly out of date PC for this generation. As you can imagine the Wii is used the least out of those consoles, but that’s a topic I go on about enough.
